This mandala is as bright and yellow as the mid day. The building inspiring this image is the San Antonio de Padua Convent, located in Izamal, Mexico. Izamal is a small city in the Mexican state of Yucatan, in southern Mexico. It is known in as the Yellow City as most of its buildings are painted yellow and the City of Hills that actually are the remains of ancient temple pyramids.
The mandala is formed by an angled photo of the convent right outside the black bars that protect its perimeter.
