This print is inspired by the entrance of the Tung Lin Kok Yuen, Canada Society building. This building is located on Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC and is equipped with traditional and modern Buddhist teaching facilities, including worship and meditation halls among others. The building displays two flights of stairs with a bonsai tree in the middle.
The resulting mandala replicate the stairwells giving the illusion of circularity and infinity. Some people see the face of a hippopotamus with a wide open mouth on this image.
Print is mounted on wooden panel and covered with resin for extra shine and protection.
